Airforce Offers Free Medical Services To Shasha Community Residents 

The 041 communications depot, generally known as Shasha Airforce Base has offered free medical services to residents of the community in Alimosho local govt ares  of Lagos State in commemoration of 60 years of Airforce existence in Nigeria.

The medical services rendered during the exercise included: free medical consultation, HIV screening, malaria prevention and treatment, free eye test and free glasses.

Speaking on the exercise which was held on Wednesday, may 15, 2024 at Ajako, a community in Shasha, the Airforce commander, Air commodore M.A Isah explained that it was part of the civil- military cooperation programme aimed at ensuring that the people of the community are giving Heath care services.

His words:  “iam happy to be here today at this medical outreach marking a major milestone in our 60 years of existence and health delivery system. This is a very important activity, Today, we came with doctors and nurses to offer medical services to the Shasha community ranging from general consultation, drug dispensing, eye services, BP tests and malaria/typhoid amongst others services.

“This medical programme is part of our efforts to strengthen our relationship with the community and I will appeal to the people of the community to continue to give support and cooperation to the Nigerian Airforce.
