Nigeria’s aviation sector consisting of airport authorities, Airlines and other allied businesses will be gathering at the All-Nigeria Airports Business Summit and Expo scheduled to hold between August 20th and 22nd, 2024, at the NIGAV Expo Centre at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos.
This event which is the 9th edition will host all Nigerian airports, stakeholders, and industry clients to a three-information business exchange, airport investment opportunity marketing and lecture workshop designed to enrich participants knowledge of the compliance airport business climate.
ABSE which is the only dedicated Airport Business gathering in Nigeria, modelled after Airport Council International (ACI), focuses on implementing the Council’s reports, findings, and best practices in Nigeria to enhance airport performance in supporting air connectivity.
The theme of this year’s summit is “Addressing Airport Viability as a Key to Successful Aviation Business Ambition,” which aligns with the aviation economic revamp plan of the present administration by improving revenue generation.

Those expected at the summit include the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo alongside heads of aviation agencies as special guests.
Also being expected at the summit are: the Commissioner of Transport from various state airports.
Honourable Aminu Suleman Takuma, Commissioner of the Ministry of Industry Trade Investment and Private Sector Development will be representing the Governor of Niger State, His Excellency, Umaru Mohammed Bago just as Mrs Patricia Ifeoma Igwebuike, Esq the Anambra State Commissioner for Transport will be in attendance.
The Managing Director of FAAN, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku will deliver a paper on airport viability plan as the lead speaker in the open plenary. She will also chair the special Airport Manager forum on the 20th of August 2024 from 10 am with a former Managing director of FAAN, Dr Richard Aisubeogun. where the airport managers will demonstrate their competence to market and promote business opportunities within their airports.
This session will precede the Airport Revenue and Route Development workshop to be taken by Mr Josiah Chinyama Mvula of Zambia Airports Corporation Limited and Apple Lee from Munich Airport.
ABSE 2024 has all the mix in the industry, from a regulatory authority, NCAA to Handling companies such as NAHCO, and SAHCO to airlines such as Arik Air, Ibom Air, Aero, and Hangar, Equipment and service companies will be attending the event with 14 Airport states already booked down to showcase at the event.
