The Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Bola Oyebamiji has expressed his gratitude to Almighty God for the privilege to witness and see the end of last year.
The MD disclosed this in a goodwill message to the Management and Staff of the Authority recently.
His words: “As we stand on the threshold of a new year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey we have embarked upon together and to share a message of hope and inspiration for the year, 2025.
“The year 2024 was a significant turning point for the National Inland Waterways Authority. Despite some challenges we faced, we demonstrated resilience, innovation, and unwavering commitment to our vision and mission. Together, we achieved milestones that have not only strengthened our operations but have also laid a solid foundation for the future of our Inland Waterways.
“As we move into 2025, let us carry forward the lessons learned and the successes achieved. This new year present us with an opportunity to build upon our past accomplishments and to strive for even greater heights. Our collective efforts have the power to transform the Inland Waterways sector, enhancing connectivity, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering economic growth.
“Let us embrace the new year with renewed hope, energy, and optimism. Together, we can continue to innovate, collaborate, and serve our Authority with dedication and excellence. I encourage each of you to set ambitious goals for the Authority and yourselves and to support one another in achieving them”.
He prayed to God Almighty to make the year 2025 to be a year filled with hope, progress, and success for the Authority and wish the staff and their families a prosperous and fulfilling NEW YEAR.
