Businessman and philanthropist, Prince Kunle Oyewumi has described the Governor of Plateau State and Chairman of Northern Governors Forum, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong as a highly detrabilized Nigerian with passion for growth and progress of the country.
Extolling the virtues of the Governor, Oyewumi, who was also a member of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council (ICC), applauded Lalong for his giant achievements in life, adding that the Governor has sustained peaceful co-existence among all ethnic groups in Plateau state.
The Ogbomoso Prince urged the Governor not to relent in his good works, noting that Lalong is a bridge builder and progressive politician.
In a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Governor’s 60th birthday, the Board Member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) prayed for longer life for the celebrant.
He said: “I felicitate with the government and people of Plateau state on the occasion of the 60th birthday anniversary of Governor Simon Lalong.
“It is indeed a glorious milestone for the Governor, whose accomplishments in the private and public sectors are worthy of commendation and emulation.
“Governor Lalong has sustained peace in Plateau state by adopting a participatory approach of governance.
“A true and committed progressive, the Governor’s experience will continually be tapped by the younger generation and his contemporaries in driving leadership.
“I celebrate with family, friends and associates of Governor Lalong on this auspicious occasion”.
